Our Design Process:
Our design and development process is fairly basic and we try to lay it out as clearly as possible in every proposal we create.
Generally our website design process goes something like this:
1) Determine goals & objectives as well as the desired features and an estimate of the initial content for the site.
2) We create visual concepts and a flexible site map for review.
3) We take into account feedback and make design refinements as well as a refined estimate for the project (now that we know a little bit more about exactly how it will work).
4) We build the site structure and add any programming features which are needed (often we are able to create a quick site structure for review while the programming features are still being developed).
5) Testing - At least four Creative Slice site testers will give the site a test-run. Our clients are encouraged to participate and send this test site around to colleagues and friends for review.
6) Depending on how the testing goes we make necessary refinements and fixes.
7) Training - We create checklists and instructional videos to show our clients how to use their new site.
8) We work with our clients to populate their site with final content.
9) Launch Site!
